Sipario
Sipario is a straight-grained walnut with an elegant linearity, enlivened by an alternating pattern of refined striped areas and bright sections of sapwood.
This harmonious balance gives depth and liveliness to the pattern, enhancing its natural elegance.
The Italian term Sipario refers to the curtains of a stage. This image inspired the name of the collection and reflects the alternation of striped areas and sapwood: the striped areas, on the sides, evoke the curtains which, opening, reveal the bright areas of sapwood.
The tones are warm and harmonious, enriched by a deliberately desaturated brightness.
The longitudinal development does not present repetitions to give the pattern a final refined touch and lend a natural and realistic appearance to the finished surface.
The finish, with a sanded-wood effect, features two levels of mattness that add further tactility to the surface.
